When trying to access the desktop app over a VPN it is so slow that it is not usable. When using the SQL database there is no reason for this to be so slow. The web interface is ok but nowhere near the desktop version. The most common thing we do in drop and drag emails into tickets. The only way to do this in the web interface is to save the email locally from outlook and then upload the file to the ticket. At the very least the upload needs to be fixed so that it is not a "browse" only but also a drop and drag. It's really a shame that the desktop version only works when you are on the same internal network as the server.

Re: VPN Access
Thank you for posting this.
In order to run the application via VPN please follow these instructions for the best performance. With these configurations the executable file, among others, should run from the local machine and not from the server folder saving a lot of initial load time.
Having said that, using the app directly over VPN, i.e. the Windows client remotely, will naturally still be slower than using it within the LAN and therefore, over the VPN connection you should probably consider using the app within an RDP session. You should expect good performance with this configuration.
We will definitely consider adding support drag and drop emails in the Web Interface, should be useful. Thank you.
Hope this helps!
