Email Connector SSL

I am trying to set up the email connector with my outhgoing email server. Since my outgoing server requires SSL it will not send out. How can I tell the connector to use SSL?

I get this error message - Connecting to SMTP server...
RequestDone Rq=0 Error=10060
Error, Application Stopped

RangerMSP Email Connector currently uses standard non encrypted POP3 mail servers and therefore encrypted ones are not natively supported at this stage.

What you can do is work with Stunnel, although not officially supported, this works fine with the Email Connector as an alternative to SSL. You can set it up from stunnel.org (http://www.stunnel.org/) and this should work fine with the Email Connector and SSL. You may also find more information on this forum thread.
